Mentoring 2012

Semester 1 Weeks, 1-6. An initiative created 2 years ago to help promote an exchange of knowledge from current students to new students. This ongoing educational program is well supported and has proven extrememly valuable to those having attended. There is still time to become a mentor/mentee.

Social Event

Apr 21. We are looking at holding a social BBQ, on Saturday. More details to come.

International O-Week Nathan/Gold Coast 2012

Feb 13-17. Griffith Golden Key will be on hand to answer any question members or potential members will have. We will be running a competition for Movie tickets, just because we can. Turn up and say hi! In addition to this, there will be information regarding mentoring. So if you want to be a mentor or mentee, come along and talk to the members.

The International Summit will be held in Atlanta, GA on the campus of the Georgia Institute of Technology 26-29 July, 2012

Asia Pacific Conference 2012

Attending the Asia-Pacific Conference is a great way to make the most out of your membership and meet new friends! Join us from Thursday, 2 February to Saturday, 4 February, and take the opportunity to network with Golden Key members from all around the Asia-Pacific region; learn valuable leadership, personal and professional development skills; hear from a number of inspirational and notable speakers; and have lots of fun!

Leadership & Planning Day 2012

Held on the Gold Coast campus, the planning day consisted of the current 2012 executive members, Stefanie Mueller from APHQ and Kim Holmes from Griffith. Discussed were events for the year, items covered were the Asia Pacific conference, mentoring, International Conference, funding possibilities, Professional Development for Members, Sign on day and Orientation week. As a catered event, the exec left feeling more in-tune with each other and goal orientated for the year.
