Presidents Welcome

Dear Members,

I want to take this time to personally thank you for entering into the world that is Golden Key. My name is Sean Costain and I am the newly elected President of the Griffith Golden Key Chapter for 2012. I understand that some of you are still a little dubious as to what happens around this time of the year and what Golden Key is, so I would like to give you a brief overview.

Golden Key consists of the top 15% of any university discipline, be it Information Technology, Law, Business, Art and so forth. You are the cream of the crop and Golden Key is here to help you foster an additional set of skills that will help you in your future endeavour. The three pillars of Golden Key; Academics, Leadership and Service are a foundation for you to aspire to, Golden Key wants you to be the best you can be. As such, there are scholarships that you should be looking into to help in your academic career, become an active part of the executive to help promote your leadership skills and by undertaking service in the community, you will discover just how fortunate you really are and what you can do to become a better person overall.

So in conclusion, thank you. Golden Key is only as strong as it’s members and 2012 is going to be a great year and I am looking forward to meeting you all.
